Does any know where I can find the lyrics to Paint the Town Red? I love this tune but have no idea what half of the lyrics are.

Pain the Town Red - The Mahones
Hey there where you going to, how the hell you been I haven't seen you in a while, come over here my friend It sure has been a long long time since I've seen your pretty face I hear that you've been doing good, what's the story with this place
So c'mon here we go again, you and I We're going to paint this fucking town red
I'm in the mood to hit the streets, that's what I bloody said I'm in the mood to hit the streets, and paint the fuckers red We're going to go out nuts tonight, chasing down the browns We're going to go down to the pubs, and take this fucking town
We'll it's six in the morning now, the sun is in my eyes My pockets are all empty, and I'm glad to be alive I'll see you at the gates of hell, that's where we're going to So raise your glasses in the air, I'll drink this one for you

Well they're in the CD booklets...but I guess if you had the albums you wouldn't be asking right? I'll see if I can get clever with my digital camera and the album sleeves. Or failing that I can use the scanner at work in a couple of weeks. Which album or albums do you want?

"...Which album or albums do you want?" *across the USA *take no prisoners *celtic pride *queen and tequilla *whiskey devils *shake hands with the devils *is this bar open till tomorrow? I can also lend a hand here. From my liner notes: Take No Prisoners (F. McConnell) What's going on, tell me what's going on Crimes are committed when the radio's on Hang the VJ, have you seen the shit that they play What's with the world today Chorus: Oh no, we're gonna Take No Prisoners Oh no, we're gonna take no... I'm going mad, this music is driving me sad What's happened to all the bands? It's a rock and roll war, you know its worth fighting for Everybody, let's "Go To War" What's goig on, Crimes are committed when the radio's on So tell me, what's going on.

Across the U.S.A. (McConnell)
It was a Monday night when I went out with the boys It was free drinks for all, you could only smell the joys I think I went a little too far I ended up on the floor But you know I'll be back in the morn'
Well someone drove me home but I don't know who they were They took me to a hospital, I said what's this bloody bar They said my head was bleeding and I'd gone too bloody far But you know I'll be back in the morn'
Chorus: Clear the way, clear the way Paddy's going out again today Clear the way, clear the way Paddy's going drinking in the U.S.A.
Well the next thing you know I was lying on the ground Idrank some more whiskey, you know I was feeling sound I dreamt I met MacGowan and he bought me another round And the two of us went drinkin' 'til the morning.
Chorus
Well all my cash is gone and my guts are getting sore I can no longer spend my evenings laying on Wally's floor And if there's a bastard out there Who will lend us another score Then the two of us will go out drinkin' 'til the morning
Chorus

Rose & Crown (O'Sullivan) - off "Draggin' the Days"
Larissa lies about her face, swears she'll have to buys some mace, but we all know the truth, her rates were late, she paid in kind... And Joey mumbles through the shakes, and laughs to fight the snakes of doubt he feels each time he tries to stop the monkeys dancing.
Friday night at the Rose and Crown - the whiskey bites, bitter wash it down...
John Skin he's jumpin' on a wog I've seen him walking with his dog down Finsbury Park on a Sunday says shagall when he on his own. But now he's runnin' with the pack, they'll dine on Eastern snack... They make a good curry mister, as long as they don't touch my sister...
Another fight in the Rose and Crown. Get 'im in the head, kick 'im while he's down...
No use in runnin' for the hills, though I've had my fill of booze and pills another pint for the road... a fish and chips... a drunken shag... watch ill folks make their children whóres then keep them behind locked doors there's no way out. I had my chance I should've ran...
Another night at the Rose and Crown...

Yeah, I got time to do one more...
Streets of New York (F. McConnel)
I remember the days, on 204th street, in the Bronx New York, where everyone would meet It was Friday Night and we packed the streets And everyone waited for Rory Well we went down to the 20s, to shoot some pool, And there I saw Rocky acting the fool He had a few too many whiskeys on his dirty bar stool And everyone's cheeks they were glowing
Chorus: So long to all my friends fare-thee-well, we'll meet again Au revoir, rich Americans On the streets of New York, Sayonnara my friends
We got all our cash and we went to the bars And we drank til we all had too many jars I checked out the scene all that I saw were stars And everyone started to roll The clock struck four, they locked up the door And we danced as the bartender, he poured us more We danced and we drank and I fell to the floor The we all headed home in the morning
Chorus
I remember the days, on 204th street, in the Bronx New York, where everyone would meet It was Friday Night and we packed the streets And everyone waited for Rory

Good work Prof, and I think I'll take a few mins to note down Queen & Tequila too cos it has such fantastic lyrics, not to mention a wicked song all round.
The Mahones - The Queen and Tequila
It was a Friday night, we were down at Paddy's Bar Joe Hurley came up to me, he said how are you doing so far? He said MacGowan's drinking down the street So we jumped in a cab, because we couldn't stand on our feet
We went down to the grocery, there he was at the bar Sitting with his back to us, he wasn't very far Rory walked right up, said can I buy you a fucking drink? The beautiful barmaid she said what do you boys think?
Can I buy you a drink, it's so good to see you You know what man, I wouldn't want to be you Excuse me there, beautiful senorita The two things I hate, the Queen and Tequila
We woke in the morning, we had to play the Fleadh Pud he forgot his smokes, it wasn't Erin Go Bragh I went backstage, I couldn't even think Christy Moore, Sinead O'Connor, somebody give me a drink
When we left New York, we were feeling fine Warm all over man, it must have been the wine So until the next time, this is what we say Ramones and Shane MacGowan, rocks the USA
