Well, we've done it. After 3 years, 2 bass players, and a half-dozen extended correctional stays we've finished the new record. That's right - 13 brand-new sizzling tracks of red-hot Wages, for your listening pleasure... collected in shiny, high-tech compact-disc format under the sobriquet "Gringo Mariachi". It will be available November 7 - which, coincidentally, is the date of our CD release extravaganza at the Sunset Tavern, with our friends Meisce and Season of Nightmares. You should probably mark that one on your calendar now. Go ahead, we'll wait. Now, we know Nov. 7 is a long time to wait for new Wages, so here's what we're going to do: Every Tuesday we'll post a song from the new CD on myspace for your listening pleasure. With lyrics even. In fact, the first one (a bloodthirsty little ditty we call 'Ten Fathoms Deep') is up there right now! www.myspace.com/thewagesofsinSo go check it out while you can... when a new song goes up, the current one comes down. That's seven songs between now and the CD release... so please listen wisely.

Should be available at CD Baby around the same time (depends a bit when we actually get the CDs...).
It will eventually be up on iTunes etc. as well... probably take a month or so from Nov. 7 for that to happen.

Well now...if there were ever a reason to wander out to the wilds of Ballard, this would be it!
Except maybe 2for1 at the Bit.
The name for the new CD is pretty cool too.

"The wilds of Ballard", hah. I don't know if you've been there recently but it's turned into Fremont. Which has, in turn, turned into Belltown.
Glad you like the title... it was a result of the usual process: choosing the suggestion no-one really hated ;D
Hope to see you on the 7th.

I know but I'm trying to ignore all the gentrification Mayor McCheese is laying on us.
Chances are good I'll be there at this point.
