i picked it up today and it rocks. their covers of thingy Sparrer's 'Watch Your Back' and 'Working' and CCR's 'Fortunate Son' are worth the sticker price. wasn't too thrilled about the Pipebomb on Lansdowne "dance remix", though. and why no 'Tessie'?!
the original singles collection was the first dropkick album i ever heard so i was much thrilled to hear they were putting out a volume two. if you haven't already, go out and get a copy of the first singles collection.

Way better than I expected it to be. Standout tracks were:
The AC/DC cover "It's A Long Way To The Top If You Wanna R'nR"
The Nips cover "Vengance" and the Traditional "Wild Rover" w/ Shane-o
Wait a second...These are all cover songs....Hmmm.

Vengeance/21 Guitar Salute gotta be my favourite tracks off this CD - am listening to it right now as I type...
Love all the tracks, I don't actually mind the "Dance Remix" of Pipebomb on Lansdowne.
The Oi band covers are superb, and I'm seriously thinking of investing in a couple of thingy Sparrer CD's - saw 'em in Morecambe a couple of years back. Got a good thingy Sparrer t-shirt as well...
I've always been a big AC/DC fan so I do like It's A Long Way To The Top...
Am looking forward to seeing The Business in Bristol this Friday coming....Informer is another good track.

i wish i could get a real thingy Sparrer album. the only thing i could muster up around here is a best of album. it's still a great buy but i would of liked to have "take em all" and a few other tracks on the Original and Rare bonus disc.

yeah, I'll be in LA to see Co.ck Sparrer. Of course it is a much shorter trip for me. Blood Or Whiskey is gonna be playing to. Are you really havnig a hard time finding co.ck sparrer albums? Where do you live?, there pretty easy to find here. I know you could atleast find them online.

All the bands DKM covered on this cd are great. Co.ck sparrer albums are easy to find online, but i doubt you will find many in stores. I had originally heard all of these songs from the old mp3s i use to have. I bought this cd for the better audio quality mp3s. I enjoy this cd quite a bit, my only criticisim was that they didn't add studio versions of "If i was a carpenter", "foggy dew", and "fairytale of ny".

beerzone do a crackin' cover of working. pisses on the dkm version frm a great height!! infact beerzone show tonight! ;D Ah, met one of the guys from Beerzone in Brighton, thanks to him and a few of his pals I met Ken Casey and had my pic taken with him. ;D I've not seen Beerzone live yet, though I'll make sure I catch them at Morecambe this year - I believe they're playing The Carleton venue on the Saturday. With regards to L.A. Wasted - I'd love to go, I did look into it though there's too many people in work taking their holiday's around that time. However, I'm seriously thinking of the Amsterdam Wasted - Blood or Whiskey are on the bill amongst tons of other great bands.

"Tessie" will be a bonus song on the new studio CD. I do wish they would have put the version of "If I were a Carpenter" from the "Athenry" disc on, though. Save me having to carry that one around.

Talking about c**kSParrer! Pal of mine has their new DVD..its a doubler & lasts 8 hours. We were watching it at work the other night...yes it was a quiet night shift Has their gig at Morecambe in full from a couple of years back & as an extra has a little snippet of their US tour back in 2000 when they played the Karma club in Boston? this snippet features a little cameo appearance from none other than Mr. Ken Casey.. SParrer are a great band!
