In case someone forgot ;D
Friday, March 17 Seattle: Jules Maes 5919 Airport Way S. 206-957-7766 w/ The Bad Things & Meisce
I think there's one other band on first... we go on around 10.
Also happy to announce our first(?) all-ages show - Friday, April 14 at El Corazon.

yeah man, shut your god**n gob. the only band we get out here is flogging molly. Sorry to tell ya that NJ is hardly a music mecca. It's a highway between NY and Washington and few bands bother to ever get off that highway to play. And the ones that do stop for a show, never come back. When FM or DKM play in this State 1x year, it's an all-ages show at a teen club that I refuse to bother with. I prefer to avoid large crowds and people in general which is why I stay away from NYC and big-name acts. Actually there are very few bands that I would get off my duff to go see. Wages, Meisce, Larkin and Killigans happen to be some of them and none of them are within 1200 miles of NJ. It doesnt matter that the east gets the large kick-ass shows, if they are bands you dont give a rats ass about seeing.

Anyone able to make the Wages, Meisce & Bad Things show? When you sober up, let us know how it was?

Anyone able to make the Wages, Meisce & Bad Things show? When you sober up, let us know how it was? Ah Paddy...I'm not quite sober but I'll tell ya the Wages were great last night. Jesse and the boys get better every time I see 'em. The place was packed and there were even a contingent of pirates there! Once these guys get some more exposure, they're going to take off. Their "ill advised cover" of "Teen Age Wasteland" was a great ending to the show. The only time I saw Meisce last night was when they were comin from where I was goin to. I had to beat feet over to Studio 7 to see The Real McKenzies. My double was a roaring success. Two great bands at two different venues in the same night!

Ohhhh, my head... ;D
That was a fun show. Seafair pirates... weird. Thanks TBS for coming, it was good to finally meet you.
Yes, perhaps not the most 'polished' cover of Baba O'Rielly, but people seemed to like it.
Glad to hear the McKenzies were good, I was seriously considering heading over there myself, but people kept buying me beer...
Great moments in rock stardom pt. 54238: Marc and I ended the evening huddled in a doorway, down the street from the club, in the rain, waiting for a cab.
Which never came.
Good times!
