Yeah I think he looks better with no teeth. When he had teeth they looked like some sort of Nosferatu creature teeth.

Some serious ears, too. His whole head looks like an albino bat!

Jesus Kriste! He could be a handsome man with some effing teeth. I never understood how he could pull a bird like Victoria with the teeth he's got. I guess it's his "charm." He still has a boyish face with those teeth.

Now that's cool. I've always kind of identified with the kind of person who can fu ck up royally, accept the consequences, deal with the damage and finally fix the situation and come out grinning, (no tooth pun intended!) My own f**kups also included a drug-addled past, as well as dropping out of high school, living in a Chevelle, a few legal altercations, and some other things best left unsaid, (and never proven!) But, Man! He must have missed eating steak!

Fair play to you Professor, glad you cleaned up your act.
Drugs are never the way forward, something I've never had a problem with as I've never felt tempted by 'em.
They reckon some of the best songs were written on drugs though...

I have never heard anything by Nick Cave and his name comes up a lot when I am discussing bands I like. I have always been curious about his music but never "made the leap." Tell me about his stuff.

But wait. Let's not forget the question. What is Nick Cave's music like? If I wasn't so effed up when I saw him at lollapalooza several years ago I could remember. But as it turns out I don't remember much. Wait...I don't remember ANYTHING. Hell I was like 16 or 17. What do you expect? So what does he sound like? I saw him in some Pogues video once giving Shane all kinds of accolades. And in Shane's book he gives Nick his dues also. As well as Tom Waits, etc.
mAN i'M DRUNK. It's 2:30 am. 5:30 to you right coasters. But it's all spring break to me. No work! Hah hah hah!!!

Id say the closest comparison to Nick Cave that I can come up with would be Leonard Cohen. His albums are pretty varied in style, ranging from kind of bluesy rock, to piano ballads. This probably makes him sound really sh*te but im not too good at trying to describe music! He's a great lyricist too and writes about stuff from love, loss, death, murder, nature. Personally im a huge fan but I can see how people wouldn't like his stuff (goodbar!) Im seeing him live this summer..open air gig in Cork! Should be awesome. Anyway if your interested in hearing a few tunes then id be happy to send you some.
