the club is already booked 120 pound deposit! I could always pass the baton on to one of my work pals cos i really want to see this show 2 problems there tho... #1. The Xmas party really is a top night...for obvious reasons #2. The pal who i would pass it over to is a big Pogues/DKM's fan....! We'll see how it pans out i guess....

I booked up our works xmas bash yesterday funny enough - and told the bosses under no circumstances would I be booking any dates which may clash with the DKM/Pogues tour!
I still haven't worked out what dates I'm doing as yet! Though Newcastle's not out of the question, if I fly up it's probably cheaper and it's definitely quicker than catching the train.
And has anybody noticed there's gaps between some dates, possibly a chance more dates could be added?

Went to the opening show in Cardiff last night - superb although the Murphys sound was dire for the first 3 or 4 songs sabotaged perhaps ? and they did concenrate on new material rather than old which was a shame I think personally. Pogues were superb !! And the guest singer for Fairytale both surprised and impressed me loads .... top night and a lovely 1.5 hrs drive home ....

the guest singer for 'Fairytale' was Cery Matthews ex of welsh band Catatonia.
