P.S.: does the forum come up in a strange format for anyone else? Yup. Once the spam gets knocked out of the top 50 posts, it should go back to normal.

Korpiklaani (from Finland) play a kick-ass mix of metal and trad sounds... not 'Celtic' exactly, but they mix in fiddle, accordion, etc. in with the trash. I dig 'em... better then Finntroll IMO (sorry, Tom!), mostly because Finntroll do all their trad sounds on a keyboard! Amon Amarth are 'melodic Swedish viking death metal'... not Celtic, but they do sing about vikings, and the rock pretty damn hard to boot. Then there's Cruachan... they are definitely Celt-metal, IIRC Shane sang on a song of theirs at some point. They are also cheesier then nacho-topped pizza fondue, but maybe you'll dig 'em. HTH.

D'oh - how could I forget SKILTRON? Sounds like a Celtic Iron Maiden... from Argentina. No, really.

I randomly found an Eluviete mp3 in my files when I was transferring my music to my new external hard drive. Not sure where it came from, but it's pretty cool.
