A new crew gathers, literally materializes in the mist. LITERALLY in the mountain and tundra mists. No recruiting needed. You're gunna like 'em, I'm gunna like 'em, THEY'RE gunna like 'em.
Any interesting band names will be considered. Your chance for a blood bond with your Great Southern Brothers ...
Carpe Nocturne,

my mind has been tossing around ideas for a new name for if i made a band for a while now (Rock Band/Guitar Hero will have to suffice for now). some no, i lie, all are complete crap but, who knows? maybe my poor ideas will inspire another to think of something amazing. Certainly hope so. Here goes:
-Leprachaun's Poison
-*Fav* The Singed Shamrocks( could also be The Burnt Shamrocks)
-(lol) Shenanigan O'Flannigan and The Fiddlestick(er)s
-The Chipped Flagstones/Pavestones( either or)
-The Mossbeers(The Mosspints)
-The Dead/Young (insert generic Irish/Scottish/British/Welsh last name here)'s
i got more (unfortunately) in me brain somewhere but tha's all for now.
EDIT: The Greenbloods

I once toyed with Ruthless Nate & The Crazy Eights. That, of course, is mine though.

Leather-clad Ceilidh
Bitter (or whiskey) Brigands
The Rat Charmers
Arrrgyle (Which really only works if yer leanin' more eastern european)
Wine & Clovers
Carpe Cerevisia ('Seize the beer'... this is all the fault of yer end tag, nocturne, an' all.)
--------- ---------
Okay, I'm done fer now.

Okay, I'm in.
Way back in the big hair and aviator glasses, 1980's, my band, (a true collection of noise polluters,) "Stinkhammer" had considered and sampled a coupla' names before settling on that one.
For a brief period of time as we went through an endless assortment of members, (rivaling that of SpinalTap!,) we had either performed under or called ourselves:
- Slim Jim and the Meatsticks,
- The Other Trinity, (there were 3 of us,)
- The Studded Leather Skullfux,
- The Chris Toler Project, (okay, no one considered that one but me,)
- Mistfire, (I hated that one,)
- The Vanilla Beastie,
- The Uterus Invaders, (VERY briefly,)
- The Scumkids,
and finally, at my insistence, Stinkhammer. The name Stinkhammer is still tattooed on the former drummer's shoulder. It is also currently the name of a hardcore metal band out of Canada.
Everything else is up for grabs, though. Oh boy.

"The Bishop's Ruse"
"The Happy Lepers"
"Barefoot and Pregnant"
"Pawnshop Rejects"
"Gutter Regency"
"Background Noise"
"Sticky, Broke, and Confused"
"Parade of Brigands"
"Pariah"
"The Artist Formerly Known as Prince," (oh, wait. I think that one is taken.)

Might have one, troops. Came to me somewhere or other, some time or other. The others seem to like it. And this is a fine crew, let me tell yez. First bash today and a couple of songs just wrote themselves. Good men and true. Now, I'll keep quiet on the matter FROM HERE ON IN. Will unveil the home made galleon when the time comes. T'anks heaps, mateys.

I think "The Amish Cheerleaders" and "The Happy Lepers" would make a great double bill.

Cheers bold boys and true, and t'anks mightily, but we AIN'T GOT ONE after all although we might have soon enough. You'd think it would be easy, ay? Curly O'Hooligan is on the case, he's the yardstick in these matters. We're taking a warrior monk approach.
