Just saw FM live in Norfolk, VA with the Street Dogs this past weekend. Absolutely stellar show. Sound was perfect, of course the energy was there, saw lots of the crowd at Mo & O'Malley's pub after the show...gotta say, the best concert I've ever been to. And I didn't think it could top the time I saw them in Norfolk last year. Drove 5 hours to catch that show...it was well worth it.
And yes, they played some stuff off the new album...about 7 songs, and they all sounded amazing.

I'll be seeing FM in Nottingham, UK on the 20th November. I've always fancied checking out Rock City, what with it supposedly being one of the best live music venues in England, though the Islington Academy would be slightly closer to home. For anybody who hasn't seen the Street Dogs, I can definitely recommend them - I saw them at the Wasted (formerly Holidays in the Sun) Festival @ Morecambe in July this year through a drunken haze, I thought I'd check them out what with Mike McColgan being a former DKM - and they were brilliant! Anybody else seeing them in Europe, and are there any other S'n'O board members making the trek to Nottingham? BRH

Just got back from the Seattle show! Feckin' awesome! A good mix of new and old and the crowd was definately into it. The Briggs and Street Dogs opened here but I think more people were watchin the Sawks and the Yanks on TV in the bar ;D Pro Boston crowd to be sure. The venue, The Premier, was good but they RAN OUT OF GUINNESS BEFORE any of the bands hit the stage then they ran out of draft as well! At least they had plenty of Bush. All in all a great time and worth the money!

F**kin' Hell! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Have only just got back, Nottingham City certainly did Rock last night. What a performance by all three bands - I'm absolutely gutted that I only sorted myself tickets for one gig, should have gone to all of 'em Flogging Molly - what can I say, I'm speechless! They certainly delivered the goods and finished with my fave What's Left of the Flag, full marks indeed! The Street Dogs new material stood up well against the old, very impressive indeed, can't wait for the new full-length album (Back To The World) in January. The Briggs will also be playing the Wasted all-dayer in Nottingham next Sunday for info, I'll make sure I'm there and down the front for that one. All in all - a good weekend!

Just saw FM again in Philly this past Saturday. Damn, they're good, and "Tobacco Island" is freaking great live. Another great show. Looking forward to DKM in a couple weeks.
