I saw Flogging Molly in Birmingham last Friday - they were great, they should have headlined, a 45 minute set just wasn't enough. I missed The Unseen and most of Randy so can't vouch for those two bands and I ended up walking out after 5 Millencolin songs, they really weren't doing much for me at all, so me and my pals ended up in Scruffy Murphys for a couple of proper pints just round the corner from the venue.
That's great news regarding a FM DVD by the way! ;D

Only 8 Days till Hamburg but I cant no longer wait! ;D I'll be there, Millencolin is some Swedish pop punk band, they have a few songs that i enjoy but for the most part they are kind of boring. Great news about a dvd....so you live in Germany?

I saw In extremo in 97' or 98' in Eindhoven at the Dynamo Festival and it was really great! I like the older cd's from In Extremo, the last it was to much pop!! Paddy goes... and Lady Godiva are great too!!
Do you like traditional folk bands like "Five alive ò" or "Bardic" ? Try "in search of a rose" ! very cool folk rock Band!

Marc O'Porter (of the Porters) Ouch! Who's backing him up on Fairytale of NY...a Brian Setzer band? Think I'll stick with my Porter's CD.

Has anone ever heard a good cover of that song? I've heard some really bad versions. I can see the Tossers doing it well for obvious reasons, and maybe FM, but for the most part it seems like a hard song to cover.
