Like any CD, it had some great songs and some not so great songs. Depends what you're into. It certainly was money well spent. Will there be a Vol 2? Who should be on the next one.

Nah, Jonah, they should save room for good bands. Like Siobhan or Larkin.

Larkin's next album should be volume II. Everyone else can wait for III. Except maybe The Whole Sick Crew, if they're even still together.

Looks like vol. 2 will have - Jackdaw, The Ruffians, Larkin and Warblefly to start off with. I'm going to chance my arm and try and get the DKM - who knows

What song(s) of ours were you thinking of using...? I also have 3 unreleased traditional songs we did (because we had some left over studio time) but I must say they were left off of the "Curse" CD because they weren't up to par with the rest of the disc. Whiskey in the Jar (Dubs version) Roddy McCorley (same as the Rapparee version w/ just myself on vocals) and Johnson's Motorcar (Clancys version)
cheers, Chad / Larkin

I'd love to see Roaring Jack on Vol. II. They're one of those bands that deserve the exposure. Warblefly is another great, yet often overlooked band. How's their new album?

Chad, any possibility of making those 3 trad songs available for download from your web site?

Zu guter Letzt noch die Mates, die zu diesem trinkfreudigem Reigen laden: THE MAHONES, GREENLAND WHALEFISHERS, THE SKELS, SIOBHAN, NOGOODNIX, BIG BLACK CADILLAC, NECK, THE ELECTRICS, BLOOD OR WHISKEY, BATES MOTES, THE TOSSERS, THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATES, THE SPUNK LADS, THE STEAM PIG sowie die CROPPIES

From the alta vista translator:
For all friends of the keltischen Punkfolklore there is now finally an essential Sampler, faraway of the more or less important DROPKICK MURPHYS, MATERIAL of MCKENZIES, FIDDLER'S GREENS or WHISKEY PRIESTS. Who looks for the basis, lies here correctly! In a Irish Pub should be missing this mood, as in an alternative tavern, to a JuZe, cultural center just as little. For the drink-joyful people there is to let fill each quantity of animation its glass again and again. Singalongs at the current volume, frames from Fidel, harmonika, Dudelsack or flute. Who does not come here in motion, the life misses. That is here the first caper of a row, which does not diminish hopefully at level, as that is unfortunately often the case. To good the latter still the Mates, which loads to this drink-joyful Reigen: THE MAHONES, GREENLAND WHALEFISHERS, THE SKELS, SIOBHAN, NOGOODNIX, BIG BLACK CADILLAC, NECK, THE ELECTRICS, BLOOD OR WHISKEY, BATES MOTES, THE TOSSERS, THE DEVIL'S of ADVOCATES, THE SPUNK LADS, THE STEAM PIG as well as those CROPPIES Kinda crappy tranlation.....
