Yeah, I took a look at that. Very nice review!! Hopefully people will like the new stuff when it comes out. More instrumentation on most tracks and a few that are a little more straight up punk rock. We are even doing a few real slow ones... like our cover of "Health to the Company" and an original called "The Last Time We'll Meet"...
I'll post updates on the music here if anyone might be interested. The CD should be complete and ready to go in March.

Got another new one up called "The Last Time We Meet"... Not nearly as "punk" sounding. A lot more traditional than The Vandon Arms usually get. Hope you enjoy!

Well, there you go. I just happen to have been listening to VA all morning. Well done, Clint, you should be very proud of those songs, nice and 'clean' and solid, straightforward and accessible and the mandolin sounds great at the forefront of the mix like that.
I'm surprised I didn't get into your band earlier but I've realized a few crews slipped under my radar when I was wrangling malcontents down in Victoria. You have a stalwart supporter in Australia now.
And if you ever want to come out and play, a good point of contact is THE GO SET, specifically Justin 'Keeno' Keenan, he's always got an eye of the horizon for good overseas punk bands to play with over here. And he's a great bloke.
Cheers,

Will... Thank you so much for the kind words. Its always great to hear people like our tunes, but it means a little more when it is someone that truely loves and understands the genre.
Hopefully we'll make it down to Australia someday, and hopefully we'll continue to earn your support.
Thanks again... Cheers!
Clint

No worries Clint, with you all the way, Brother. Please say g'day to Chris and The Killigans for me when next you see them.
I'll order my VA copy when I order that much-anticipated Pogues box set in a couple of weeks. Time to start stocking up on music again.
Keep your gunpowder dry and your sextants gleaming,
Will
