I'm not making this a big public thing yet, but I wanted to give you guys this opportunity.
Back in March, my band, The Righs, opened for Flatfoot 56. The venue, the Factory, had a guy come in to record the whole show as sort of a test. What I have here are the files that guy posted and gave to me. I decided that, since these aren't quite of a quality worthy of selling, I'd share these with you guys for free.
I didn't have any control in the files he put online. They're WMAs, so you might want to convert them. Also, they do not have any song information with them (I believe they'll appear under "David Johnson" as the artist. So if you want the song titles, artist info, proper track order, etc., you'll have to edit that in yourself.

Here's some "album" information if you want it.
The Righs - Live at The Factory, March 18th, 2008
1. My Life In The Bike Scene
2. I Hope I Never See You Again
3. Loch Lomond
4. Poseidon's Wrath
5. The Man With Nickel Plating Makes All The Rules
6. Agony's Night
7. And So It Goes
8. Dirty Old Town
9. The Shire
10. You're Drunk, You Limey Bastard
So if you'd like to have recordings of Oklahoma's (in my opinion) best Celtic-Punk band, download these babies and make your friends listen to them, for my sake.
Plus, five of these songs, tracks 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10 have never been recorded by us ("Dirty Old Town" was, of course, written by Ewan MacColl in Lancaster, England, back in the '40's and was made famous by The Pogues, but our version is totally different from any cover of it I've ever heard). You're getting The Righs as we are right now. Every song save for "Loch Lomond" and "Dirty Old Town" are originals. Four of them are songs we've only started playing within the last few months.
Oh, and I'll be sure to tell you when our studio album, The Rivers Run Deep, finally becomes available online.
But that's it everybody, I hope you enjoy this sweet, sweet gift of music.
