I used to have CDR's of The Great Western Squares.
I just found both of their albums for 95 cents, and 25 cents, on Amazon.
If I were you, I'd pick up both of them.

When I get chance I'll be buying Meisce...sounds alright from what I've heard so far.
This week I've been listening to Mad Sin's new album - Dead Moon Calling, cracking CD it is too! It's on non-stop play at the moment at Barroom Towers.
In work I've been listening to Blondie, a happy medium I think as my colleagues would be offended at most of the stuff I listen to!

I just got a couple of new CDs myself, (through SnO's "Buy Shit" and it's smiling proprieter).
The McGillicuddys; Kilt by Death and Larkin; Reckoning
I knew the Larkin CD would be good as it gets a lot of high praise here and it made the 2005 Top Ten list. I was not prepared to like the McGillicuddys CD as much as I do, though. Great disc!
Both discs are. Go me!

Gor Mkhitarian - Godfather Tom Armenian singer, pretty cool stuff. Acoustic mixing in armenian folk music and lyrics. Cdbaby says....The use of banjos, acoustic/electric guitars, flutes, an African Djembe and harmonicas on Godfather Tom reflects Mkhitarian's quest to diversify and electrify his unique style of New Armenian world indie-pop. cdbaby.com/cd/mkhitarian2

"The Scallywag Show with Barnacle Brian"??
Is that a metaphor for something dirty? I think I'm getting uncomfortable with this...

"So to speak", eh? Well, being on the opposite end of the country, I'm not gonna be able to get in on the gag, I'm afraid.
I'm sure it's of Marconi Award Winning quality if it has the Barnacle Brian name on it, though, yes?
