I liked those songs on Myspace - very cool! Hadn't heard these lads before. What album would you recommend to get first up? Or should I just do what I normally do in these situations and order all of them to "save on postage"? Maybe I just answered my own question!!!

If I have to pick 2, I'd say the new one and "Complete & Utter". Haven't heard the Childish/Loins one yet. If you can afford it, all 4, but the new one and Childish cost me $40 with the exchange rate. To me they're worth every penny. But my wife just groaned at the thought of more Loins. She still hasnt gotten over hearing "Shut Your Mouth" from the Utter cd.

Complete & Utter, most definately, just because it spans... what... 5 years or more worth of Loins-ness. It's almost garaunteed tha' you'll have 5 songs per disc stuck in yer head, 'fore each one finishes. An' you'll realize tha' some of yer already favorite bands were covering them. One more bottle to drink, and Hauling in the slack as done on Hogshead of Whiskey, by the Dolomites comes to mind. At the Bridge with Billy Childish is awesome, although listening through it, I found myself missing Chris Broderick's lead vocals. I was happy to hear some of my loins already-fovrites, on tha' albumn, though. Songs to Hear Before You Die has some pretty kick-ass stuff on in. I wanna say that after about two days worth of owning it, I'd either find m'self dancing or crying to pretty much everything on it. Heh. The new one you should just get... because it's them. (Also, if you check the Damaged Goods myspace, www.myspace.com/damagedgoodsrecords You'll hear another one from the new albumn, We Are The Singing Loins which is also fucking brilliant)

I'm liking it! Done a whip around the obvious places and Interpunk seems to be the cheapest place to get the CDs. Will wait till next week and order the new one at the same time methinks...cheers!

Got sick of waiting for Interpunk to list the new one, looks like US release date might be August some time (at least thats what Amazon says). Anyways, I can always order it another day.
So my calculations suggest 5 albums is the optimum order postage-wise, so I've ordered:
Singing Loins -Complete And Utter Singing Loins -Songs To Hear Before You Die Filthy Thieving Bastards -I'm A Son Of A Gun
plus a couple of Swingin' Utters ones to round it out
I actually didn't realise FTB had a new one out, (or maybe I'd forgotten - it came out in March) anyway it was a nice surprise to stumble across that one, I love their other albums.
Cheers NJPaddy and Mr McSod (Fucking is my middle name), your recommendations much appreciated!
