Barnacle, I have 2 questions about #6.
Where did the Tarantella song come from? The only cd I found on-line didnt list that song (or is it one of the bonus songs on Esqueletos?).
How good are the Slims live shows? They're playing in NJ in a couple of weeks. But it's a week nite, 2 hours away in a shit-hole town that my wife refuses to set foot in. Am I going to regret not catching them?

Am I going to regret not catching them? Slim Cessna's Auto Club are dynamite live. Especially when they've got a good crowd... so yes, you probably will ;D That said, I'm not sure I'd drive 2 hours each way on a weeknight to see 'em (or, well, anybody short of the Pogues really). But if you get the chance, or can take the next day off, or something...

In the meantime I've ordered his last cd. Maybe she'll like the music and change her mind.

Am I going to regret not catching them? This is the album I got it from... The song was off their old demo from a few years ago. Try Smooch Records. I think they might still have MP3's. I myself haven't seen Slim (Yet), but from what I hear.... Go see them if you have the chance....
